Data Visualization

Data visualization, for me, is less about making information legible and more about extending what we are able to perceive at all. We live within systems whose scale and complexity exceed our senses. These works are perceptual instruments for our modern condition, whether they are translating multidimensional information into sensory forms our senses can more immediately apprehend, or tools constructed to collect and visualize data so tiny we never thought to look at it at all.
