12 Sons, 12 Moons, 12 Months, 12 Moods
Synthaesthetic live visual projections to accompany the debut performance of an orchestral composition by Uri Brenner. The visuals incorporate the traditional colours, symbols, tribal role, and imagery associated with each of the 12 biblical brothers of Israel. Resisting direct representation, the progression of visuals seeks instead to embody the sensory experience elaborated by the music and create a unique overall sensory signature for each brother. Video projections were performed live.
Performed in October 2021 at the Kav Kaz Festival in Derbent, Russia, curated by Masha Kroupnik.
